Our Story
Gulf Panga started with time spent on the water.
Over the years, we found ourselves in places like the Caribbean and Pacific, where pangas are a part of everyday life. Simple, efficient, and incredibly capable, they stood out for how much they could do with so little. Whether running to a remote island or navigating shallow coastal waters, they just made sense.
That idea stuck with us.
Eventually, we took it a step further, traveling to Mexico City to visit the IMEMSA factory, where these boats have been built for decades. We met the IMEMSA team, spent time walking the factory floor, seeing the materials, and watching the boats going through the construction process. We viewed our first four hulls there, where Gulf Panga really came to life…
From the factory floor to the Gulf Coast.
Gulf Panga was created to bring that same proven design to the Gulf Coast, outfitted locally and built for our waters.
Efficient. Versatile. Affordable.
We’re just getting started, and we couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead.
Our hope is to build a community around these pangas, from Louisiana to Florida, bringing together people who share a love for the water and the freedom that comes with it.
